Ashar has been set up as a resource for the Church and the Community.

The Vision of Ashar is to provide a safe space for those seeking support. Our desire is to encourage you to reach your full potential.

Ashar seeks to be a place of Acceptance, Rest, Healing, Empowering and Discipleship inspired by Isaiah 61:

‘To heal the broken hearted and set the captives free… to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes’

‘Ashar’ comes from the Hebrew meaning to walk upright in a straight line.

We seek to bridge the gap as a third sector resource between health care professionals and the Church offering a service of trained counsellors, experienced trainers and those with extensive experience in Prayer Ministry.

Our counsellors are professionally trained and subscribe to the confidentiality guidelines, polices and procedures cited in the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy website:
